Inkspire is a creative platform for children. Protecting their privacy isn\'t a feature — it\'s the foundation of everything we build.

Inkspire (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a creative storytelling platform designed for children ages 4–12. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families, and to complying with the Children\'s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable laws.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights parents and guardians have over their child\'s data. By using Inkspire, you agree to the practices described here.
Our promise
We never sell children\'s data. We never advertise to children. We only share a child\'s creative work with their parent or guardian.
To provide the Inkspire experience, we collect the following information:
We do not collect: children\'s last names, home addresses, phone numbers, photos, geolocation data, or persistent identifiers used for behavioral advertising.
We use the information we collect strictly to:
We never use children\'s data for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or to train third-party AI models on identifiable children\'s content.
Inkspire complies with the Children\'s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because our service is designed for children under 13, we take additional steps to protect them:
Public sharing is parent-controlled
If a parent chooses to share a film or story (for example, in a class showcase or family album), they make that decision explicitly through their parent dashboard. Children cannot make content public on their own.
As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to:
Most of these actions can be done directly from your parent dashboard inside the Inkspire app. For anything else, email us at [email protected] and we\'ll respond within 7 business days.
To bring stories to life, Inkspire uses a small number of carefully selected service providers. We share only the minimum information needed for each service to function, and we require every provider to handle children\'s data in compliance with COPPA, GDPR-K, and our own data processing standards.
Used for the Story Coach AI and to help structure stories into scenes for film generation. Children\'s text is sent for processing and is not used to train OpenAI models under our enterprise data processing agreement.
Generates the animated film from your child\'s story. Story scenes and prompts are sent to render the video. Inputs are not retained for model training.
Provides voice narration for animated films. Story text is sent to generate audio. ElevenLabs does not use children\'s data to train voice models under our agreement.
Processes all payments (subscriptions, hardware orders, printed books). Stripe receives parent billing information only — never any child\'s data. We never store full payment card numbers on our servers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect Inkspire\'s rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (in which case parents will be notified in advance).
You can request the deletion of your child\'s data at any time, in any of these ways:
Once verified, we will permanently delete the account, all stories, drawings, audio recordings, films, and any associated personal information from our active systems within 30 days. Backups containing the data are overwritten on a rolling 90-day cycle. We will also instruct our service providers to delete any data they process on our behalf.
We may retain limited information if required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes) or to resolve disputes — these records contain no creative content from your child.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect children\'s information:
No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to make ours as safe as possible for the families who trust us.
